Customization
How does customization work?
Once you book your appointment, you will be sent a zoom invitation. On the date of the meeting, simply click on the link and you will be taken to a virtual meeting. During this meeting, you will meet with Amy Dutton. Amy will share her screen with the plan that you purchased and you can customize it together for your own needs.
How do I know what plan or interior package to select to customize?
Simply go through the images and see what is closest to what you are looking for as far as size, layout, color palette and general vibe. We won’t limit you on how many things you want to change.
Is there anything that I cannot customize?
Yes! You cannot customize or change the footprint, the staircase in any way, and the roofline.
Why can’t I customize the footprint, staircase or roofline?
Because these are all structural and impact a large portion of the plans.
What should I do if I want to change the footprint, staircase or roof?
We suggest that build a custom home with Amy Dutton Home.
What can I customize?
Anything else! This would include all interior walls, layout of bathrooms and kitchens, materials on the outside and inside of the house and more!
What will I receive with a customization or consultation?
IP (or Intellectual Property) is the value received during these consultations since you will be speaking directly with Amy, a designer who has over 30 years of experience. During any of these consultations, you will receive a sketch of the possible options that will work for your home or one of our plans that can be customized. You will have full confidence of the direction that you will be going in with directions for the path forward with your project.
