All about the Aspen Tiny Home Plan: This modest home sits on a foundation of 24’ x 24’ - or a typical size of a two-car garage. So convert your garage, build on an unfinished slab, or start fresh for this efficient tiny home. Let’s take a tour…
The first floor has a welcoming front porch sitting low to the ground with no railings but plantings instead for curb appeal and privacy. The first floor features a small closet and staircase off the entry with a Living Room and Kitchen with a peninsula as an open concept. Seating for dining is located at the peninsula and there is a built-in table under the TV for a custom, flexible space. The kitchen features full-size appliances and is laid out for function and flow. Off the kitchen is a small office/bedroom with a built-in cabinet and shelf should you decide to have a twin bed in that space. There is a half-bath with the utility sink acting as the sink and a stackable laundry in the room.
The second floor has a more oversized bedroom and a smaller bedroom, both with egress windows and closets. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower and a single vanity. It is expertly laid out for an efficient use of space with plenty of light.
The structure can be added to your home or breezeway easily and flipped to work with the gable (or triangle) end you need. As shown here, the back door could walk out to a future screen porch or simply walk down to grade. Designed to stand alone or be added to a structure, this house has a cottage vibe with a modern twist.
