What Kind of Architectural Design Client Am I?

Amy Dutton Unfold is a response to providing quality house plans and high-end interior design services to customers without having them fully custom. Typically, with Amy Dutton Home, our clients pay between $40,000 – $60,000 for custom house plans, so we’re trying to make this a much more approachable process and purchase. 

WHY BECOME A CUSTOM CLIENT (or AMY DUTTON HOME):

  1. When you have a unique lot, an Amy Dutton Unfold plan won’t fit or work on the lot. 
  2. When your lot is inside a historic district, wetland, or shoreland setback, it is simply impossible to build a house that will be approved by going anything but the custom route (architects are great for the approval process!).
  3. When the civil engineer has defined the shape of an oddly shaped buildable footprint.
  4. You simply want a custom home to make all your dreams come true – and you have the budget to match.

WHY BECOME AN AMY DUTTON UNFOLD CLIENT:

  1. When there isn’t any issue with your lot, which allows straightforward building. 
  2. When you find the most perfect Amy Dutton Unfold design to meet your needs and you want to click, check out and start the building process ASAP knowing that you won’t have any issues. 
  3. When you find a plan that you like but want to customize it just a bit to get exactly what you want.
  4. When you want to be able to work with a designer for a few hours to customize your plans, ask questions about the Finish Collection, and at the end know that you have absolutely everything that you need for the project. 
  5. When you care about the project and don’t want to buy just any plan online, running the risk of it not working out. 
  6. When your project is more time-sensitive so spending six-plus months designing isn’t an option but you know that you can make it work with one of our plans. 

There is no real wrong answer, but we’re trying to make it straightforward for our clients. If you find a plan that needs too many revisions, we will send you to ADH to build a custom home.
